Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• 1–3 years of experience in a correctional setting
• Valid Registered Nurse license
• Willingness to obtain Virginia licensure

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and provide acute and chronic care in a correctional environment.
• Manage medication administration, triage, and emergency response procedures according to correctional healthcare standards.
• Document patient care, treatment plans, and follow‑up in electronic medical records (EMR) while complying with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within a secure, structured setting to deliver quality care.

Pay

Weekly pay range: $1,414 – $1,700 (based on 10‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week). A tax‑free stipend amount will be determined.

Schedule

Shift: 07:00 am – 4:30 pm (10‑hour day shift).
