Registered Nurse - Correctional - $1,453 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Corrections contract in Columbia, South Carolina. This travel nursing opportunity supports healthcare professionals with roles designed to meet today’s workforce needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and modify plans based on patient responses.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including observations, treatments, and responses to care.
• Supervise other nursing staff, such as LPNs or CNAs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a secure, structured environment—providing care that truly matters.
• Play a critical role in serving a unique and often underserved patient population, impacting patient safety, wellness, and rehabilitation.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• At least 1 year of experience in the correctional setting.
• Valid Registered Nurse license.
• Willingness to obtain South Carolina licensure or compact licensure.

Pay

Pay range: $1,541.25 - $1,618.31 weekly.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Days, every other weekend and holiday.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.
