Registered Nurse - Compliance Partner

About the role

Ensign Services, Inc. (“ESI”) is a subsidiary of The Ensign Group, Inc., a leader in the post-acute care industry. ESI provides support services to over 378 facilities employing over 55,000 employees. The Compliance Department seeks a Registered Nurse - Compliance Partner.

Responsibilities

• Create and present regular training on clinical compliance and general healthcare compliance topics.
• Perform clinical systems compliance audits.
• Review medical records to detect possible compliance or quality issues and develop corrective action plans.
• Conduct internal investigations involving general compliance and clinical issues under the direction of a lead compliance partner or the Chief Compliance Officer.
• Travel required 70% of the time within Wisconsin, Nebraska, Kansas, and surrounding areas/states.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with 1-2 years of nursing experience in the skilled nursing environment.
• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility required, 3-5 years preferred.
• Understanding of the legal and regulatory framework governing the skilled nursing industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
