Registered Nurse - Community Outreach

About the role

The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care during hospital stays, assessing, managing, and coordinating treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conducts age-appropriate assessments, establishes and evaluates care plans, delivers and documents nursing interventions, and monitors patient responses
• Ensures effective communication, collaborates with healthcare team members, and provides patient and family education
• Maintains safety, infection control, and professional accountability while demonstrating compassion, respect, and service excellence
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives, adheres to policies, and supports a positive work environment

Qualifications & Skills

• Must hold a valid RN license in the relevant state, with certifications such as BLS
• Demonstrates technical proficiency, adaptability, effective communication, teamwork, and a commitment to evidence-based practice and quality improvement

Key Duties

• Performing assessments, implementing care plans, administering medications, documenting patient care, recognizing clinical changes, supporting safety and infection control, and providing age-appropriate, patient-centered service
• Mentoring, participating in committees, and maintaining professional standards
