About the role
The Clinical Team Coordinator RN oversees nursing care on their assigned unit, ensuring delivery of high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care. They provide direct patient care, supervise staff, assist with orientation, and conduct performance evaluations.
Responsibilities
- Manage staffing
- Monitor performance
- Facilitate communication among staff and with other departments
- Support adherence to policies and regulations
- Promote a positive work environment aligned with Magnet principles
- Mentor staff
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Handle patient and family concerns
- Document incidents
- Assist in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor's or Specialty Nursing program
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong decision-making abilities
- Experience in a fast-paced clinical environment (preferred)
- Commitment to patient education (preferred)
Unit Details
The role is based in an advanced cardiovascular unit caring for patients with cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and med-surgical conditions, using a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
