The Role
As the Clinical Nurse Supervisor, you will provide operational leadership for our nursing department while maintaining a "hands-on" approach as a Registered Nurse.
You will partner with the Director of Nursing to ensure the highest standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Leadership: Act as the primary resource for nursing staff, providing coaching, guidance, and real-time support
- Operations & Scheduling: Oversee daily nursing operations, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management
- Quality & Compliance: Lead chart audits, medication management, and ensure strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards
- Team Development: Spearhead onboarding and training, identifying skill gaps to help your team grow and succeed
- Direct Care: When necessary, perform duties as a Licensed Floor Nurse to ensure continuity of care
Minimum Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience (behavioral health or residential treatment experience is a plus)
- Previous leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and HIPAA documentation standards
