About the role
The Clinical Education Specialist (CES) at Saint Luke's is responsible for neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patient care staff education and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Affirms, implements, and evaluates education programs and core curriculum for patient care staff.
- Serves as a clinical and educational consultant expert and supports the ongoing professional development of clinical staff using current evidence-based practice and research.
- Maintains system responsibilities for general and area-specific orientation, continuing education certifications, and competency.
- Collaborates with other educators and leaders, serving as a referral resource for staff, patients, and the community in their area of expertise for information and education.
- Maintains current knowledge and standards of care in neonatal care to support quality outcomes.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- A Master's Degree.
Qualifications
Must have experience within the NICU and be able to travel between all three Saint Luke's locations including Saint Luke's Hospital, Saint Luke's East, and Saint Luke's North.
Skills
Expertise in neonatal care, strong communication skills, ability to implement and evaluate educational programs, and proficiency in evidence-based practice and research.
Benefits
Full-time, 40 hours per week schedule.

Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
