Registered Nurse - Charge Nurse

Role: RN Charge Nurse overseeing the 2 North Telemetry/Oncology unit, providing leadership, staff coordination, and ensuring quality patient care. Responsibilities: Assigns, directs, educates, and evaluates nursing/support staff; develops patient care plans based on daily needs; collaborates with advanced practice providers to ensure optimal outcomes; monitors patient care effectiveness; addresses patient care concerns; contributes to staff hiring, training, and development; maintains safety and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; minimum one year RN experience; active RN license in Missouri or a Compact State; BLS certification. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, assessment, and collaboration skills; physical ability for frequent standing, walking, lifting, and patient handling; attentive to safety and quality standards. Key Duties: Manage staffing and clinical objectives, ensure compliance with policies, respond to patient and staff needs, and contribute to a safe, effective care environment.
