Registered Nurse - Certified Diabetes Educator

Role Overview

This professional nursing position involves providing clinical care and education to patients with diabetes, focusing on self-management, lifestyle coaching, and discharge planning. The nurse assesses patient needs, develops individualized care plans, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate diabetes management initiatives
• Deliver patient and family education
• Interpret lab results
• Manage medications and supplies

Qualifications & Skills

• Active RN license in Massachusetts
• Three years of experience
• BLS certification
• Diabetes education certification (or within one year of hire)
• BSN (preferred)
• Effective communication
• Strong clinical judgment
• Ability to manage complex cases
• Ability to collaborate with teams

Pay

$40.53 to $51.67 per hour
