About the role
Seeking a registered nurse to lead and coordinate unit staffing while ensuring high-quality patient care and clinical objectives.
Responsibilities
- Assigning, supervising, educating, and evaluating nursing and support staff during shifts.
- Assessing patient care needs and developing appropriate care assignments.
- Collaborating with advanced practice providers to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Evaluating patient care effectiveness and addressing issues impacting outcomes.
- Responding to patient care complaints and managing through established channels.
- Providing input on hiring, training, and staff development as needed.
- Maintaining a constant state of alertness and safety.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensing.
- At least one year of registered nurse experience.
- Current RN license and BLS certification; ALS or PALS preferred.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive movements.
- Ability to communicate effectively and use sensory perceptions for patient assessment.
- Must hold appropriate state-specific licenses and certifications.
