Registered Nurse - Catheterization Laboratory

Responsibilities

• Assist as circulator, scrub, or monitor during Cath Lab procedures
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring accurate history and physical documentation
• Administer medications, assess patient condition, and communicate abnormal findings to physicians
• Ensure safe hemostasis with or without vascular devices
• Document patient orders and charges accurately
• Care for critically ill patients, providing education to patients and families
• Escort families to procedural areas and perform point-of-care testing as needed
• Maintain safety standards and perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• At least 1 year of RN experience preferred
• Licenses and certifications: BLS, ACLS or PALS (as applicable), and state-specific RN license
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive movements
