Registered Nurse Cath Lab RN PRN

About the role

Banner Thunderbird Medical Center (BTMC) specializes in cardiac services, offering advanced treatments and procedures. The Cath Lab team includes special procedure technicians, registered nurses, and interventional cardiologists.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with professional nursing practice guidelines.
• Develops and revises the plan of care based on patient assessment data and input from the multidisciplinary team.
• Coordinates and delegates care to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
• Evaluates patient progress towards goals and expected outcomes, and modifies the plan of care as necessary.
• Communicates effectively with other healthcare providers and maintains accurate documentation.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as an RN in Cardiac Rehab or other Cardiac/Pulmonary settings.
• BLS certification, with ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card for Banner Behavioral Health Hospital, BTMC Behavioral, Banner Home Care/Hospice, or Boswell Skilled Nursing Facility.
• State of Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card for Banner MD Anderson on the Banner University Medical Center Phoenix campus.
• Colorado Fingerprint Clearance Card for Banner McKee Senior Behavioral Health Inpatient Unit.
• Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card for all Banner Staffing Behavioral Health roles in Arizona.
