About the role
Provide in-home care to former Nuclear Weapons Workers with chronic or terminal illnesses caused by exposure to toxic substances.
Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly in-home nursing assessments, including vitals and physical exams
- Ensure home safety, manage medications, and oversee caregiver services
- Develop and evaluate patient care plans, collaborate with team members, and serve as a clinical resource
- Assist with staffing, training, documentation review, and quality improvement activities
- Participate in client care conferences and support client health and well-being
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved nursing program (BSN preferred)
- Current, unrestricted RN license
- At least two years of nursing experience, including one year in home care
- CPR certification; supervisory or case management experience is a plus
