Registered Nurse - Care Manager
About the role
The Registered Nurse - Care Manager will strategically coordinate the care of hospitalized patients, optimize resource utilization, and meticulously plan for safe and timely discharges that meet individual patient needs. This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, providers, utilization review specialists, and ancillary departments. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional clinical assessment skills, a deep understanding of care coordination and discharge planning, and strong communication, negotiation, and critical thinking abilities.
Responsibilities
- Strastrategic coordination of patient care

- Creating a seamless and safe transition for patients into appropriate post-acute settings
Requirements
- Current Washington state licensure as an RN
- BLS from AHA upon hire
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Strong patient assessment skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Current working knowledge of electronic medical records
Preferred/Desired
- Experience managing complex patients or patients with chronic disease in an ambulatory setting
Qualifications

Pay
The posted compensation range is $49.65 - $80.35 /hour, reflecting the lowest to highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Schedule
The schedule is 80 hours per pay period, with a weekly schedule of 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Variable, and a shift of Day. There is no remote option, and travel is not required.
