Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Unit - Nights

Role: Registered Nurse in a mixed Cardiac/Tele and Neuro/Stroke unit at a hospital campus. Responsibilities: Provide bedside and virtual nursing care, monitor patient health, communicate care information, assist with medication reconciliation, perform patient education, discharge planning, and document interactions using EPIC. Acts as a resource to bedside RNs and responds to patients' physical and psychological needs. Qualifications: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), current Illinois RN licensure, CPR certification, ACLS and NIHSS certifications within 6 months of start. Experience in inpatient nursing is highly preferred. Skills: Knowledge of patient care across age groups, strong communication, and documentation skills. Ability to respond appropriately to patient needs and collaborate with healthcare teams. Additional info: Full-time position, rotating hours (7:00pm–7:00am), with weekend and holiday shifts.
