About the role
Provides specialized care in the Cardiovascular Procedure Unit (CPU), assisting with cardiac procedures and patient recovery.
Responsibilities
- Perform as part of the Cath Lab procedure team (circulator, scrub, monitor)
- Prepare patients for cardiac procedures
- Administer medications
- Ensure hemostasis
- Manage patient orders and charges
- Educate patients and families
- Escort families as needed
- Perform point-of-care testing
- Maintain safety standards
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Valid nursing license in the respective state
- BLS certification
- ALS/PALS certification (as applicable)

- Excellent communication
- Critical judgment
- Ability to work independently in stressful situations
Physical requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform other physical movements required for the role
