About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, utilizing technology, evidence-based practices, and team coordination. The role collaborates with surgical teams as a Cardiovascular OR RN, providing high-quality, safe care during surgical procedures.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Recognize patient needs and develop treatment plans
• Adhere to documentation protocols
• Collaborate with surgical teams during cardiovascular OR procedures

Requirements

• BSN from an accredited program
• Current Colorado RN license or equivalent
• BLS certification; ACLS/PALS may be required
• Manual dexterity and physical stamina to lift and assist patients
• Excellent communication skills for interactions with patients, families, and colleagues

Qualifications

• Preferred: at least one year of experience in cardiothoracic or surgical acute care
