About the role
We are seeking a CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to provide advanced surgical care in a Level I STEMI and Trauma Center.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care
- Coordinate with the surgical team
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
- Support procedures such as open heart, vascular, minimally invasive, robotic surgeries, and vascular interventions
Requirements
- Nursing degree from an accredited school
- Current Missouri RN license
- BLS certification
- Preferably one year of RN experience
Skills
- OR experience with surgical settings
- Interest in cardiovascular and vascular specialties
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to expand circulating and scrub roles
