Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room

The Registered Nurse (RN) in this role provides comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatments using evidence-based practices, technology, and team collaboration. Specifically, the Cardiovascular OR RN delivers high-quality surgical care, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and colleagues to ensure optimal outcomes during cardiovascular procedures. Key responsibilities include recognizing patient needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and adhering to documentation and evaluation guidelines. Qualifications require a BSN from an accredited program, current Colorado RN license, and BLS certification. Prior cardiothoracic nursing experience is preferred. Skills include excellent communication, manual dexterity, physical strength for patient transfer, and the ability to operate complex equipment efficiently.
