Registered Nurse - Cardiothoracic Progressive Care

About the Role

Provides specialized post-surgical cardiac care in a cardiothoracic progressive care unit. Acts as the primary coordinator among clinical teams to ensure holistic patient management, monitoring adult cardiac surgery patients, and advocating for patient safety by accurately executing physician orders and maintaining detailed records. Collaborates on discharge planning to facilitate smooth patient transitions from hospital to home.

Requirements

• Valid RN licensure from the Kansas Board of Nursing
• BLS certification within one month of hire
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent professional licensure
• Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail
