About the Role

Provides specialized post-surgical care for adult cardiac patients in a cardiothoracic progressive care unit. Acts as the primary coordinator among clinical teams to ensure holistic patient management, safety, and effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive post-operative cardiac care and monitor patient progress to support recovery.
• Ensure accurate execution of physician orders and maintain detailed patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to facilitate seamless discharge processes and patient transitions.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse licensure from the Kansas Board of Nursing.
• BLS Provider certification within one month of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure.
