Registered Nurse - Cardiology (Inpatient)

The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for managing a group of patients, providing comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process, current trends, technology, and resource management within the organization's philosophy. Key Duties Include Performing initial patient assessments and developing individualized care plans based on patient and family needs.Implementing and modifying care plans, nursing interventions, and procedures accordingly.Maintaining accurate documentation of nursing care for seamless communication within the healthcare team.Ensuring patient and staff safety by reporting hazards and incidents.Providing direct care to CVMS patients, including post-operative CABG, thoracotomy, and vascular surgery patients.Maintaining a clean and organized work environment and completing departmental competencies.Conducting hourly patient rounds and proactively assisting internal and external customers.Communicating effectively with colleagues, providing constructive feedback, and supporting professional development. Qualifications And Skills Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license in the state.ACLS certification within 1 year and BLS certification within 30 days.Nursing diploma required.Experience of at least 1 year in a related clinical setting preferred.Strong communication, assessment, and patient care skills.
