Registered Nurse - Cardiology, Full Time Nights

About the role

Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by team members. Coordinate patient care across departments, uphold patient rights, and maintain confidentiality. Perform duties aligned with organizational mission, values, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in areas such as cardio-pulmonary, cardiac, and respiratory support.
• Manage oxygen therapy, ventilator care, chest tubes, and post-operative cardiac recovery.
• Monitor and treat heart failure and pulmonary diseases.
• Evaluate patient progress and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the practicing state or with compact licensure.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, walk, reach, bend, and kneel.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS (or obtain within 30 days).
• Unit-specific certifications as required or within designated timeframe.
