About the role
Provides patient care within the Cardiac Transplant LVAD department, ensuring coordinated and effective treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Implement, monitor, and communicate patient care plans.
- Serve as a primary coordinator among healthcare disciplines for seamless patient care.
- Note and execute physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the state or recognized multi-state license.
- Current BLS certification within 1 month of employment; ACLS certification within 6 months.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure at hire.
