About the role
The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They operate within organizational policies, demonstrate professional growth, and coordinate patient care activities to ensure quality standards.
Qualifications
- Nursing program graduation (bachelor’s preferred)
- No experience required for new graduates
- Hospital experience preferred
- Current Georgia RN license
- BLS certification
- Additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy) required based on specialty area
- Specialized certifications such as NRP or NICU training may be needed for certain units
