Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry, Night Shift

About the Role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifespan, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They function within organizational policies, demonstrate professionalism, and ensure high standards of practice. The nurse coordinates patient care activities and manages assigned staff to deliver quality nursing services.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Georgia or hold an NLC/eNLC Multistate License
• Current BCLS certification; additional specialty certifications as applicable (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy)
• New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications within specified timeframes

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care utilizing clinical judgment and organizational procedures
• Coordinate and oversee patient care activities of assigned staff
• Maintain professional growth and accountability
• Adhere to practice standards and safety protocols
• Complete required certifications for specialty units within designated periods
