Registered Nurse, Cardiac/Telemetry, Full Time, Day

To fulfill the needs of patients in a variety of age groups, their family members, and the community by performing varied patient care tasks and functions in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Current/valid State of New Jersey license (or legal permission to work from the New Jersey Board of Nursing).
• CPR certifications.

Requirements

• Computer and keyboard skills.
• Medical terminology.

Skills

• Physical and cognitive requirements: full range of body motion including physically assisting patients, requiring stretching, bending, lifting, sitting, kneeling, stooping, standing, walking, pushing, and pulling.
• Position classified as Very Heavy Work (USDOL): exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. NIOSH guidelines followed (average worker should not lift more than 51 pounds without assistance).
• Manual and finger dexterity, hand-eye coordination, constant talking and listening in English.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, including speech clarity and understanding relayed information.
• Deductive and inductive reasoning skills (applying general rules to specific problems and combining pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions).
• Considerable walking, standing, sitting, reaching, filing, typing, and photocopying.
• Ability to perform work accurately, pay attention to details, and switch tasks efficiently without loss of composure.
• Ability to function competently in stressful situations and adapt to changing work environments related to patient needs (acute, chronic, complex, and/or terminal disease processes).
• Ability to work cooperatively within a multidisciplinary health system team (e.g., MDs, Rehab, Respiratory, DI, Laboratory).
• Effective time management skills to set priorities, problem-solve, and deliver care.

Pay

Pay Range: $47.80 - $59.75 per hour
