Registered Nurse - Cardiac Stepdown

About the Role

This role involves providing direct nursing care in a cardiac stepdown unit, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and coordinating multidisciplinary efforts for optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care following established policies and protocols
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions effectively
• Serve as a primary coordinator among healthcare disciplines
• Follow physician and nursing orders accurately
• Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team

Requirements

• Current BLS certification (obtained within 30 days of hire)
• Valid RN license or eligibility for licensure in Alabama
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school with licensure at time of hire
