Registered Nurse - Cardiac Recovery

About the role

The position involves providing direct patient care as a Registered Nurse, focusing on cardiac prep and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on managing illnesses, medications, and post-treatment care.
• Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and document individualized care plans with clear goals, ensuring effective communication across care settings.
• Use critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of a Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree; BSN preferred.
• RN license required; no prior experience necessary, though 2 years of experience is preferred for advanced roles.
• Cardiac experience is preferred.
• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness is essential.

Schedule

• Three 12-hour shifts with no nights, weekends, holidays, or call requirements.
