Registered Nurse-Cardiac Progressive Care

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care to adults with complex cardiac conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient responses, intervening promptly as needed.
• Administering medications, treatments, and procedures with clinical judgment.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans.
• Educating patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatments, medications, and post-discharge care.
• Documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately within electronic medical records.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and maintaining patient safety practices.
• Providing compassionate care aligned with organizational values to support a healing environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license (state-specific).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• PREFERRED: experience in cardiac, telemetry, or critical care nursing; ACLS certification; NIH Stroke Scale certification if applicable.
