Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing care process consistent with license and/or certification, including initiation of culturally competent continuum of care in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
- Oversee any necessary coordination of the interdisciplinary surgical plan of care and ensure its consistency with the surgical treatment plan.
Qualifications
Education/License: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred. Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey or current multi-state license required. BLS required. Valid NJ Driver's License is required for all employees in the Adult and Child Partial Programs.
Experience: Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire.
Specialty Experience: Emergency Room, Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit/Intermediate Care Unit, Mother/Baby Unit (OB), Perinatology, Operating Room, Critical Care (ICU), Medical/Surgical, Dialysis (renal, acute), Psychiatry (1 West 1 Pines), Radiology (radiology adm ), Cath Lab (cath lab, EP), Trauma ICU, Oncology (1 south/ 1 Meadow), Endoscopy, Cardiac Diagnostic.
