About the role
Provide professional nursing care in the Cardiac Neuro ICU, following state regulations and hospital protocols.
Responsibilities
- Employ critical thinking to assess patient conditions and recognize changes in status.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and document observations accurately.
- Delegate tasks appropriately to support staff.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to achieve unit goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing preferred; minimum of 5 years of RN critical care experience required.
- Valid Illinois RN license.
- CPR certification.
- ACLS certification within six months of hire.
