About the role
Part-time position in the Cardiac Neuro ICU, 24 hours/week, day shift (7:00am-7:30pm) with rotating weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care according to state and hospital policies
- Assess patient conditions and recognize changes
- Plan and evaluate care, monitor progress
- Document observations
- Delegate tasks
- Collaborate with the healthcare team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing (preferred) or Associate Degree with a plan to complete a Bachelor's within five years if applicable
- Minimum of 5 years RN critical care experience
- Current Illinois RN licensure
- CPR certification (American Heart Association BLS)
- ACLS certification within six months of employment
