About the role
Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for coordinating nursing care, including direct patient care, education, and transitions of care.
Responsibilities
- Support professional nursing practice across various settings and the continuum of care.
- Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of patient care within the Nursing Practice Model.
- Provide leadership through mentoring, team collaboration, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Delegate patient care based on skill level, patient acuity, and available resources.
- Possibly drive a personal vehicle as part of role duties.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program.
- Preferred: One year of RN or LPN experience in applicable care settings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in team environments and electronic medical record systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to unpredictable situations.
- Current RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional state licensure or certifications may be required.
Schedule
This is a part-time, nonexempt role. The schedule includes night shifts, with every third weekend, and may involve driving for work-related duties.
