Registered Nurse – Cardiac ICU

Role Overview: This registered nurse position provides specialized care in an adult cardiac surgery and heart/lung transplant intensive care unit, utilizing advanced technology such as VAD, TAH, and ECMO. The RN is responsible for coordinating patient care, patient/family education, and supporting professional nursing practices across settings. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care in a high-acuity, technologically advanced environment.Utilize state-of-the-art monitoring and documentation systems.Support family-centered care with open visitation and continuity of care.Participate in practice, research, and educational opportunities.Provide leadership through mentorship, precepting, and quality improvement activities. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program.Minimum of one year RN experience; ICU experience preferred.Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.Proficiency with electronic medical records; ability to work flexible hours.Current RN license and BLS certification required.
