Registered Nurse - Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory

The Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care within a multidisciplinary team, supporting patients from infants to geriatrics in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings. Responsibilities include performing pre, intra, and post-procedure assessments and educationcollaborating with physicians to ensure protocol adherenceadministering medications and moderate sedation per protocols and guidelinesmonitoring patient vital signs and responding to changesrecovering patients post-procedure and coordinating dischargeacting as a patient advocate and liaison among patients, families, and healthcare providerssupporting nursing care planning, education, and transitions of careparticipating in quality improvement and mentoring rolesdelegating patient care based on skill level and resources Qualifications include a graduate of an accredited nursing programminimum of one year of RN experience, preferably in ICU, PCU, or EDcurrent RN license and BLS certification; ACLS and PALS required within one yearstrong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and computer skillsability to work flexible hours and adapt to unpredictable situations Additional requirements include state licensure and, for some, driving responsibilities.
