Summary Of The Role The registered nurse is responsible for delivering safe, individualized, and quality patient care following the nursing process and Nurse Practice Act. She/He assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team, involving families when appropriate. The nurse supervises and delegates tasks to colleagues and manages patient care activities.
