About the role
Seeking a registered nurse for a part-time, onsite role in cardiac care, specializing in stress testing, treadmill, and nuclear medicine.
Responsibilities
- Providing direct nursing care and monitoring for cardiac rehabilitation patients.
- Supporting stress testing and cardiac recovery programs.
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Utilizing nursing processes for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Educating patients and families on health maintenance and recovery measures.
- Fostering a positive work environment by mentoring colleagues and applying evidence-based practices.
- Performing point of care testing and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and skills
- Active RN license (Missouri or compact state).
- Preferred experience in cardiology or stress testing.
- Strong communication, leadership, and clinical skills.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform necessary patient care activities.
Schedule
- Work hours primarily Monday mornings with optional Saturday half-days after training.
- No on-call requirements.
