Registered Nurse - Burn Center

Role Summary Provide specialized nursing care in a Level One Burn Intensive Care Unit, caring for adult and pediatric patients with severe burns, frostbite, and necrotizing tissue disease. Responsibilities Manage hemodynamic instabilities, perform sterile dressing changes, and ensure infection prevention. Deliver complex wound care and manage surgical drains, mechanical ventilators, and CRRT. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PCNAs, interns, surgeons, respiratory therapists, and child life specialists. Utilize advanced technology such as patient lifts, virtual whiteboards, and telemetry monitoring. Qualifications & Skills RN licensure in Ohio and graduation from an accredited nursing program. Certifications: BLS (within 90 days), ACLS, and PALS (within 6 months); PRN requires 1 year of relevant experience. Preferred: BSN and professional certification recognized by Magnet.
