Registered Nurse - Burn Center

About the role

Join a specialized Burn Intensive Care Unit dedicated to treating adult and pediatric patients with severe burns, frostbite, and necrotizing tissue disease. You will provide care for patients with hemodynamic instability, perform sterile dressing changes, manage complex wounds, and operate surgical drains, ventilators, and CRRT.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients with hemodynamic instability
• Perform sterile dressing changes
• Manage complex wounds
• Operate surgical drains, ventilators, and CRRT
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PCNAs, interns, surgeons, respiratory therapists, and child life specialists
• Contribute to patient recovery in a unit with 8 inpatient beds and outpatient services

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current Ohio RN licensure
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS

Qualifications

• BSN (preferred)
• Professional certifications recognized by the Magnet designation (preferred)
