Department Details

• The Broadway PACU is a 19 bay unit
• Provides intense observation and care to patients who have undergone procedures requiring anesthesia
• Serves patients ranging from infants to the elderly
• Specialties include general surgery, bariatric, ENT, GYN, urology, oncology, RMCC, colorectal, interventional radiology, and MRI
• Primary hours are Monday through Friday between 0730-2000 with call rotation

Job Summary

We're seeking positive, compassionate, and hardworking registered nurses (RN) who can provide high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment, education, triage, and various other nursing interventions
• Collaborates with colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care
• Empathetically cares for patients during all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up along the continuum of care
• Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (e.g., AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA)
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
• Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
