About the role
This position involves providing specialized nursing care to behavioral health patients across multiple acute care hospitals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct bio‑psychosocial assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Participate in planning and revising patient‑specific goals and interventions.
- Lead or co‑lead group therapy sessions.
- Monitor patient responses and collaborate with the treatment team to adjust care strategies.
Key duties
- Provide compassionate, evidence‑based care aligned with facility policies.
- Engage in team conferences to optimize patient outcomes.
- Support patients' emotional and physical well‑being through therapeutic interventions.
Qualifications and skills
- Current RN licensure.
- BLS certification (to be obtained within 30 days of hire).
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.
- Preferred: at least 1 year of recent experience in behavioral health within an acute care setting.
