Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to youth in the residential treatment setting in accordance with the authorized scope of practice specified in the Nurse Practice Act.
• Identify patient health care needs utilizing physical and behavioral professional nursing assessment skills.
• Make comprehensive clinical observations and evaluations of health needs including subtle abnormalities and changes in condition.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Current license or permit to practice as an RN in the state of employment.
• Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: At least one year in a health care setting. Prior psychiatric experience preferred. Child & Adolescent experience a plus.
