About the role

Registered Nurse responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current competency and contribute to peer development
• Incorporate ethical and evidence-based practices
• Promote safety and supervise staff
• Ensure thorough documentation
• Respond effectively to emergencies
• Provide safe, ethical, and patient-centered care
• Guide and supervise colleagues
• Stay professionally updated
• Recognize and adapt to varying situations
• Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• At least one year of nursing experience preferred
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school
• Effective communicator
• Current Illinois Nursing licensure
• CPR certification
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required within six months
• Previous psych experience is highly preferred
