Responsibilities
- Helps ensure the well-being of our residents by meeting their physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Manages the unit alongside clinical duties, including overseeing care, administering and ordering medication, reviewing and evaluating individual care plans, and providing clinical guidance to the care team.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized care plans for each resident.
- Maintains work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and comply with relevant standards, policies, and legislation.
- Coaches and guides the team, providing formal and informal teaching programs for colleagues and other care professionals.
- Assists with CQC tasks and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
- Previous experience ensuring policies and standards are maintained at a high clinical level.
- Confidence in offering clinical guidance to care teams and being involved in CQC tasks.
- Ability to build connections with residents and their families, providing them with the kindness and support they deserve.
- Effective communication and reporting skills to handover clinical issues to other team members and healthcare professionals.
- Strong critical thinking and self-reliance skills, particularly beneficial for night shifts where you may work alone with limited support.

Pay and Schedule
We offer a starting hourly rate of £21.12-£24.12 per hour, depending on experience.
The schedule is 8am-8pm, with bank availability and potential for overtime.
