Registered Nurse

Position Summary

Unison Health is seeking compassionate and dynamic individuals to join our team as a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) in our Behavioral Health Stabilization Center.

Responsibilities

• Conducts assessments
• Administers medications
• Makes sure clients' health and safety are monitored
• Supports individualized treatment and stabilization plans
• Implements evidence-based behavioral health practices

Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights

• Provides direct nursing services to clients
• Assesses data about each client's status
• Administers injections, prepares drug samples, gives medications, administers vaccines, calls meds to pharmacies, and provides other nursing services
• Supports crisis team with de-escalation of patients experiencing crisis
• Thoroughly and accurately documents all aspects of patient care provided

Education & Experience Requirements

• Current RN license from the State of Ohio
• Associate degree in nursing or completion of a practical nursing program from an accredited school required
• Must obtain BLS, First Aid and CPI following hire
• Must demonstrate knowledge of mental illness and the ability to establish therapeutic relationship with clients
• Must be able to work with ill, disabled, emotionally upset and at times hostile individuals
• Must be able to work weekend and holiday rotation

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation includes Paid Time Off (PTO) starting at 16 Days/Year, Medical with federal minimum deductibles, Dental and vision coverage, Retirement planning and employer contribution.
