Registered Nurse
Location: Rochester, MN
Part-time, unlimited (regular) position. Rotating shifts: 6:45am-5:15pm or 11:45am-10:15pm. Schedule varies, 60 hours per pay period (10-hour shifts). No travel required. Candidates may be eligible for a hiring bonus of up to $10,000. Free on-site parking.
About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) performs experienced, professional nursing care at a 16-bed inpatient psychiatric facility for adults experiencing a serious mental health episode. The length of stay is usually less than 30 days, with treatment focusing on stabilization, patient education, and discharge planning involving community support resources. The RN participates as an active member of the treatment team at a Community Behavioral Health Hospital (CBHH) and acts as charge nurse when assigned.
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose patient needs.
- Develop individualized nursing plans in coordination with the multi-disciplinary team.
- Provide direct nursing interventions and/or delegate specific nursing tasks to appropriate staff.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the plan and care provided.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Current licensure or eligible for licensure in Minnesota as a Registered Nurse.
- Future RNs within six (6) months of graduating and taking their NCLEX-RN are encouraged to apply. Contingent job offers may be made upon successful completion of degree and passing of NCLEX-RN.
- Documentation of freedom from tuberculosis (TB) through a blood test prior to employment (DCT does not accept TB skin testing).
- Must be eligible to work in the United States at the start of employment; DCT does not provide sponsorship for work visas or participate in E-Verify.

Pay
$40.59 - $60.06 per hour.
