Days: varies, includes every third weekend

About the role

The Community Behavioral Health Hospital (CBHH) in Annandale is a 16-bed inpatient psychiatric facility for adults experiencing a serious mental-health episode. Typical stays are under 30 days; treatment focuses on stabilization, patient education, and discharge planning with community resources to prevent future episodes.

As a Registered Nurse at CBHH Annandale, you will perform experienced professional nursing care: assess and diagnose patient needs, develop individualized nursing plans in coordination with the multidisciplinary team, provide direct interventions or delegate tasks, evaluate plan effectiveness, and serve as a member of the treatment team. You will also act as charge nurse when assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose the needs of patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide direct nursing interventions or delegate specific tasks to appropriate staff.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the nursing plan and care provided.
  • Participate as a member of the CBHH treatment team.
  • Serve as charge nurse when assigned.

Requirements

  • Current Minnesota Registered Nurse license (or within six months of graduating and taking the NCLEX-RN; contingent offers may be made).
  • Ability to perform CPR, First Aid, and Therapeutic Intervention.
  • Documentation of freedom from tuberculosis via a blood test (TB skin tests not accepted).
  • High-school diploma or college transcript/degree at time of interview.
  • U.S. work eligibility; DCT does not sponsor work visas or participate in E-Verify.

Pay

$40.59 – $60.06 per hour
