About the role

Elmbrook Schools is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individual student health support across the district. This role is part of a community-driven mission focused on excellence and innovation in education.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and health support tailored to individual student medical needs.
• Administer tracheostomy care if required, with certification obtained upon hire if not already held.
• Respond to medical emergencies using Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
• Collaborate with families, staff, and healthcare providers to ensure student-specific medical needs are met.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing.
• Certification in Tracheostomy Care (required upon hire if not previously certified).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred.
• Additional training or certifications related to student-specific medical needs as required.

Pay

The Support Staff Compensation Model includes competitive pay with additional stipends and adjustments for longevity, professional growth, and impact beyond the classroom.
