Registered Nurse

About the role

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in an outpatient dialysis center. The position requires 1 year of registered nurse experience, though dialysis experience is not necessary. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to patients dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.
• Work with a team to support and rely on each other in a positive environment.
• Oversee a group of patients with the support of PCTs to conduct patient observations, measure stats, and set up machines.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, balancing care with empathy and compassion.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) or three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for a nursing degree.
• Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) units is helpful but not required.
• Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN).
